  1. I got this product initially on January 23 2023. I did have high expectations thanks to the reviews. No sooner than I started the phone after inserting the sim did I begin getting errors. Initially, Google services were not working. Then I tried restarting the phone but the phone hung.Restarting the phone was very troublesome. After around 10 minutes and 5 restarts, it would work. This was not how the phone was to work so I asked for a replacement. The service tech came, checked the phone and submitted his input for the replacement. I also had to coordinate with Amazon to place the replacement request (does not happen automatically). Once I got the new device, it worked well – no crashing or hanging thus far.I would suggest anyone buying this phone to be cautious. Buy it only if you have the time to exchange it, in case it is needed. It’s a good phone really, if it works well. Glad I bought it.Edit: After one month of usage I can say, go for it. Battery life is super, charging time is hardly anything (compared to the Samsung M32 I had earlier). Camera is OK, not exquisite. Love the Duraspeed feature, works intelligently. Haven’t played games but the processor and 8GB ram is not just of paper – seamless transition between multiple apps and no lag whatsoever. Proud of this truly Indian phone, instead of using a phone made in India but owned by a Chinese parent.Update after 3 months of use: Phone is superb, except for the camera which is not of great quality. It’s ok for someone who takes few photos (like me). Otherwise, the phone doesn’t hang, switching between multiple apps is seamless, doesn’t overheat, battery is great (last about 1.5 days on moderate use). Happy i was able to support an Indian company and didn’t have a bad experience.

I am writing this review after using the phone for about a month. I got a call post a week from Lava support to check if everything with my phone was working properly. Awesome service by LAVA.nitially I felt a very sligh issue in caliberation of the touch screen. Two days later an update was released and I installed the update. As soon as I installed the update, the touch screen caliberation problem was completely resolved. Love for LAVA, for the quick patch and the quality support they are providing. They visit your home to resolve any issues for the newly bought phone. Although I did not have any such issue.Post usage of 2 weeks I again bought a second phone from LAVA. Camera quality is awesome, beating Redmi phones having 128 MP Cameras. Battery life is awesome, charge once andforget for the day. Games are running without any issues. While charging there is no heating issue. Wifi speed is awesome. Since the phone is 5G, I was able to get 1.25 gbps in rishikesh and about the same speed in Delhi / NCR region (JIO 5G speed). Speaker sound is also good. Microphone also good, front camera is also good, but the REAR camera is super awesome.

Amazing phone. Superb specifications. Outstanding performance.Proud to see that it’s an Indian brand. I am glad that my choice to go with it didn’t get proven wrong. I had purchased it in Oct 2022 and writing this review in May 2023. I can assuredly say that this phone never disappointed anytime.1) Battery lasts at least 24 hours. I charge in the morning and charge the next morning.2) Photo clarity and video clarity is awesome. Of course I’m not a professional photographer or video expert so I cannot find any issues but as a layman user of camera I am more than satisfied with the camera performance. My family too likes the vividness of colors when photos are shot using my Lava Agni.3) Storage is huge and adequate4) Performance is smooth no glitches observed5) Sound clarity is excellent even when put on speaker. Speaker is adequately loud for a comfortable hearing.6) No bloatwareAreas of improvement:1) The selfie camera hole is so big that it looks like a big black dot while watching any videos. The selfie hole could be made smaller in next models2) Wallpapers if changed it doesn’t gel with the icons and readability. I tried to put some other wallpapers like God’s or Superheroes etc then the icons on the phone screen do not auto adjust their visibility by gelling with the background hence readability becomes poor to identify the icons. So I have been using the default Agni fire wallpaper only where the icons become visible properly. This is not a defect of Agni only even Chinese brand VIVO used by my mother has same problem. So seems it is a widespread issue not Agni’s problem. However if possible company could see if this could be improved.Overall, 5-stars for everything. The above two minor issues do not need me to drop the rating as they have workarounds hence not blockers. Thanks LAVA for all the good work!
