So let’s talk about the built and design of the earbuds, the built is plastic but you have some coverage of metal on the case but the hinge is very cheap and it doesn’t stick to the body very well and feels cheap. The design of the case is very compact and the design of the earbuds is also very compact and they have a very comfortable fitting.The sound quality of the earbuds is good compared to the last earbuds from ptron and loudness, bass, travels all were optimized.For call quality, you can check out our mic test for battery understanding.For gaming, we do not recommend this earbud as they have latency lag, and also they don’t have detailing for the battle royal game but still, you can check out our latency test for a better perspective.In the end at the price of 1000RS, it offers Bluetooth 5.0, NO IPX rating, 10 meters of range, and button feedback. I had to return the product after exchaing it once because the right side earbud was not getting charged inside the case. I was naturally inclined for it as it was a Made In India product, but was disappointed with the quality. The bass is very feeble, sound is adequate for calls and the microphone is also good. It would have been a good earbud for calling purpose and the only reason for return was that both the pieces sent by the seller had exactly the same issue.

A made in india product.Company packing was satisfactory since one of the earbuds was out of its place and rolling inside the box.Initially, the right earbud was not charging. Cleaned the charge points of the earbud 3-4 times and later it started charging.The build quality is good even though its plastic, and fits properly in the ears. The charging box is good quality with magnetic top.Sound quality wise, even at full volume it was like 60-70% when listening on wired headphones. Bass is good. Not satisfied with noise cancellation. Good for listening to music, while watching movies there is noticeable lag which i think occurs while using all earbuds.Works for 2.5-3 hrs on single charge. No connectivity issues faced.Overall, it’s an average product considering the price and out of the box quality issues.

The clips work well, you get two types. If your headset has a flat not round cable the clip will slip off while wearing or pulling off your headset. I put a dab of glue on the opening after pushing my flat cable into the clip, making sure not to get glue on the headset cable. It’s easy to snip through the glue if / when you want to remove the clip.

Alright so, my package was delivered on 23rd May. Writing this review after continuously using it for 10 hours. For the sake of your understanding, I will divide the review in 5 different headings. Let’s get started.1. Build quality – At Rs. 1,199 it would not be a surpise if there are compromises with the build quality. Well, the case is made from some kind of cheap plastic, and does not have an LED battery indicator as well. Be careful while opening the case because the plastic hinge might break if open the case a little too much.On the contrary, the earbuds are solid. I ordered a black color variant and the material of the earbuds is definitely different from that of the case, and is more sturdy!3.5/5 for build quality2. Sound quality – as is written on the case, the bass is heavy, and I wouls say most users might like it. But for someone who prefers a more balanced audio profile, the sound signature is too bass heavy. The highs and mids are not that clear as well, but yet again, can’t complain much considering the price point.These might not be loud enough for everyone. And if you listen too many bass heavy songs, you would like it.3.5/5 for aound quality3. Connectivity – the Duopods A25 do not support any fast codecs as AptX, however the connection on Bluetooth 5.0 is pretty stable. You would not face a connection drop till the second room from your device.Connecting the Dupods with my device was also quite easy. You have to take the earbuds out, keep them together for about 3 seconds and then they show up on the Bluetooth search.Another thing to note here is that they come with a Type-C charging port, and I was really happy to see that. It simply means I don’t have to carry an extra micro usb cable for the Duopods A25.The absence of a low latency mode bummed me a little, since I play games on my device as well. There is no lipsync issue.4/5 for connectivity4. Battery life – this is where things get interesting. On a call, the battery dropped from 70% to 50% in about 15 minutes of call time.While listening to music and watching videos, the fall rate was 10% every 20 or 25 minutes. On total, I used them at about 80% volume and I got around 4 and a half hours of usage, call included, which is pretty decent at this price.The case has a battery indicator light.4/5 for battery.5. Call quality – it is definitely not the best, but not the worst at 1.2k rs. The other party could hear me clearly in a quiet environment. However, when compared with Galaxy Buds in terms of call, the Duopods are slightly less louder. They are better than JBLC100TWS.3.5/5 for call quality.
pTron as the name itself suggests is a third class Chinese product. If it works, works for long and if not it would be dead in no time. It depends on your sheer luck for how long would it last. The product quality is flimsy and the design not well thought off. I have purchased pTron Bassbuds Plus TWS Earbuds only six month ago thinking it would work as described. The day I received the device, the left side earbud indicator while engaged for charge would disconnect by itself. I did not pay much heed to it thinking the earbuds must be charged enough and it may have some overcharge algo in place to stop charging. Well, when I would turn it on, it would discharge pretty soon prompting me to charge. I started charging it in the Right side of the charger as that would recognize it and charge it properly. The left side charging point was intermittently working that too when I would press it down with my thumb. The contact points of the charger and that of the Basebuds were not aligned at all. Even with this handicap I decided to use it as it is- Now after around 6 months of use, the charger does not hold charge anymore and the Basebuds earbuds do not charge either. If I plug in the cable to the Basebuds charger- It starts to show charging from 0% and goes all the way to 100%, if you disconnect it and connect it back it start to charge from the scratch- It does not hold charge anymore- Also, when you engage Earbuds into the charger, for a moment it shows it is charging but then it drop the contact with the Charger, hence it does not charge the earbuds either.I raised a troubleticket with pTron Support as this product is still under warranty, I got an email on weekend stating that I have to arrange to Courier the product with the “Tax invoice copy” to pTron seller, preferably through (India Post) with an exception “It is mandatory that the product is dispatched within 4 working days from the date of receipt of this mail, otherwise the replacement policy will not be applicable.”1) There is a Lockdown in Delhi NCR and this email been sent on Weekend 2 days are already lost- There is no information as and when the lockdown would be over.2) This product has stopped working less than 6 months from the date of purchase even when being in IT field myself I am taking utmost care to use it.3)Secondly, like any other consumer product company you should have arranged for a pickup.I have been waiting for over a month since I returned the product, which was received at their repair center. I have been told that a refund has been initiated. I do not think it should take 1 month for the refund to process.For any consumer product if there is no support or conditional support, that product is not worth buying even if it is for free. My recommendation is not to buy pTron products as I have three more pTron products all with one defect or another.

Bought it an introductory price of 1199 when there were no reviews. If I would have gone through the reviews, would have never bought it. So that’s 1200₹ wasted.Why?Well, the quality control on the device is absolutely unacceptable. The case looks and feels like cheap plastic(the cheapest you can imagine), same with the buds themselves. The bass is prominent, but the quality of it isn’t something to write home about. The only use I can see of these buds is while working out(that too if they are able to fir your ears perfectly). I tried them with all the tips provided but couldn’t get a fit which would make me feel that they are secured in my ears but that could be just me. Haven’t tried them during a workout but to be honest, not very confident that they would survive one.If you want a decent and cheap pair of workout earphones only, this is an ok purchase if you’re not doomed by the software issues that I faced.The main reason I won’t recommend these to anybody is the software issue that I faced and how the brand tackled it.My buds won’t disconnect or stop playing even after placing them in the case. Due to this they’re always connected to my phone even if they are inside the case where they’re supposed to be off once placed. (as there’s no power switch or any other way to turn them off).So naturally I got in touch with the brand to get this sorted. These were the things that I faced :1. I think they don’t maintain the history of conversation that they have with the customer over email because I’ve had stupid questions being asked from the customer support team multiple times( even though I had already asnwered those stupid questions earlier).2. After days of back and forth emails they finally were able to pickup my device to get it repaired. It took a couple of weeks to send them the device back to me and to my utter suprise – the issue was still there! After weeks of communication and waiting, I still have a defected peice with me, and that’s entirely unacceptable!So my suggestion to anyone considering buying it would be to take under consideration the fact that the same can happen with you. Are you willing to to through all this trouble just to save some cash instead of buying a slightly better option available in the market? If yes, more power to you. If not, buy something else.
Read this story before buying this.This is the worst earbud ever.Previously I had bought boult neckbands and they were just fantastic, and baking upoun that experience i bought these earbuds .The music is fairly Good but the calling sucks, the person on the other side of the call will never understand what u r talking.I complained about this to customer care and i was instructed to ship the product to their work shop that too at my on cost. However i did that and after several follow ups i received back the repaired product after a month or more . The repaired product worked well for another 2-3 days and again same problems were experienced this time the customer care again asked to ship the product to their work shop but they promised to reimburse the shipping expense via paytm . Again the product was repaired sent back to me after 15-20 days and again it lasted for a week maximum. Meanwhile shipping expenses were still not reimbursed. This time they arranged for a pickup of the product on their own.Now comes the real part , i was clueless when I would get my product. After Historic follow ups finally they sent me a new one and that too different coloured product but after 4 months and as usual the product had the same problems and after the total period of 6 months i was left with no energy to fight with them and i adjusted myself just listening to the music. After few days the touch sensor of the right earbud disappeared but i had no enery to complain. The reimbursement of the shipping was done after 4 months.Now this is just a waste . Never buy this.
I was looking for reliable Bluetooth earbuds on a budget, and settled on these. Personally, I am pleased with them. I have been using them for almost four months now, including one month when they saw around 12 hours of use per day.PROS:▪ Comfortable.▪ Elegant and sober appearance.▪ Reasonable battery life. I would let the earbuds recharge at, for example, mealtimes.▪ Decent range. Going a few meters into the next room, with a concrete wall in between, was no issue.▪ The battery status of the dock is shown by a series of LED blinks. Simple and practical.CONS:▪ Mediocre phone calling quality. In particular, the microphone. The few conversations I had using these went successfully, so this was not a deal breaker, but the clarity was not the best for sure.The touch controls were initially a drawback for me, but I got used to them. Also, this product does not come with a charger. Either charge off of your computer, or buy a charger with the recommended electrical output. As for the sound quality, it is acceptable, not superlative. I have listened to music, and I have watched films and YouTube videos, with no problem.As a final note, I prefer this type of earbud over the in-ear type, because I find it more hygienic. Wiping with a clean cloth after each use, and leaving the lid of the dock open for some time, should help to slow fungal growth.
Can;t buy just a few, but a good value even if I only use two of them. I have a pair of connected wireless earbuds, 1More “Pistons”, and here is a wire connecting left and right so I do not have to worry about losing an earbud if one should fall out, but they came with no clip. Needed a clip for my and my wife’s pair.
The tws is of good quality at the price which I got them. I paid 800 (For Red ones which are not same as the image shown they are more of maroon color).The case quality is average not that great, but in-hand feel is good it is compact. The case quality could be better, but again would not complain at this price point.The overall headphones are good. Sound quality is good, the bass is good which most of the people would like.While calling if the volume of device is more than 70% it reverbs the sound of the caller. I will suggest to use tws for calling at 50-60% of volume which I found is okay.Would like to mention it can also control the volume of the device, it is not mentioned anywhere on the box or in the manual, and I haven’t seen it in the reviews either. So like to add it. Which is quite a good features at the price point.You can use them as monopod also which is again a great thumbs up.This review is after 24hrs of use.Will update if found any issues.

Been using for just 3 months… Experience has been horrible- the charging box is so flawed that even after changing the product once coz it was under warranty ( for which they took 25 days to replace) the second time I received it, the same problem started in less than a month.- when the box is closed with the pods inside, those are not supposed to connect with the device but they do.. and therefore smtimes all of a sudden in middle of a call ( using phone device) u realize that no voice is coming thru phone coz the pods sitting inside the charging box hv connected to the device.I will try one last time to change this item which is still under warranty and see.However I definitely do not recommend this item. Very bad product to say the least.

These clips work with ALMOST any wired earbuds. I do have a pair of sport earbuds that have a flat wire, and they seem to not stay on them very well, but for more rounded cables, they work fine. After nearly 10 months of usage, I recently discovered that the battery backup of my earbuds case cover has suddenly diminished. Upon contacting customer care, they have addressed the issue, and now I’m observing its performance to see how long it lasts. Contrary to the product description claiming a single charge lasts for 8 hours and you can do four full charges, my experience has been quite different. In reality, it only lasts around 1 hour per charge, and with the four charges, it totals up to 4 hours. Considering this, I don’t believe it’s worth purchasing if you are seeking extended battery life.
The worst service I seen ever from Boult.I heartly request new customer not to buy any Boult product as you will not get any warranty assurance as I suffer.1. Firstly they do not have executive to talk2. No timely reply to chat3. No product pickup for warranty4. False promises of reimbursement of courrier charges.5. No proper update on ticket raised.Such disgusting service do Boult provide.
Bass quality and battery is good
Almost forgot reviewing this product and how these 1.5 years passed! This is an excellent product according to me…. The sound quality, the fit in ear, the charging speed everything is absolutely perfect…. My decision of getting them in exchange for another product was best.

I don’t know what people are complaining about. I have Marshall earbuds and this one is quite amazing too. Obviously nothing like a Bose but it’s pretty dam wonderful, comfortable and light weight.
