The media could not be loaded. This is by far the best air conditioner I have bought. Hats off to its cooling capability and the indoor unit is well constructed with bluefin coated copper condenser. The outside condenser is copper with aluminium fins that are not coated with bluefin. This is how most copper condensers are. No nothing to complain. It cools well and has silent operation. Initial consumption is about 1500watts and reduces to 400watts when the set temperature is reached. This is how inverter (variable compressor) air conditioners work. To maintain 26C it was consuming about 400watts and 600watts to maintain 24C when the outside temp is around 35C with 70 humidity. Just insist to have the vaccum pump draw out air from the copper tube before coolant is release to the indoor condenser during installation. It is a very important procedure for Inverter ACs and most AC installers skip this lazily. You can also use ALEXA to control it using Universal IR WiFi Hub and manually letting it learn the IR signals. I have purchases IFB, LG and Career ACs in the past but this is the best. Amazon service is first class compared to LGs’ 3rd class service. My LG airconditioners developed leaks within 1 year and LG refused me warranty service and this shows how good they are. Amazon’s customer support is a different ball game and a technician is at your doors step at the click of the button provided in the order details.I have bought over 15 ACs in the past and this is the best one ever! Buy with confidence. The 1.5Ton 5 star Amazon basics AC rocks! Hats off to Amazon to provide this unit. This is better than the best ACs you get in the market. I vouch for this model.

1. Ordered on Amazon, made full payment. Also paid for installation.2. Ac delivered.3. Installation technician arrived. They say that copper tube and flare nuts are missing. I have to coordinate everything on the phone and spend half my day waiting for Amazon to transfer my call.4. I ask the technician how much the parts will cost (900₹ per mtr). Amazon support politely decline to reimburse this amount. Their policy only allows upto 750₹ per mtr. So I am supposed to pay the remaining out of my pocket.Please note that it’s amazon’s fault that copper tubing is missing. It’s their technician that’s quoting the amount and it’s their customer support that’s citing a policy and it’s the paying customer that’s made to suffer.Anyway the installation completes and I test the ac. It works fine – for 30 minutes – after which i turn it off.Next morning when my wife turns it on the ac refuses to cool. Which is its sole purpose in life.Another day wasted in contacting amazon support and the technician. Amazon support redirects me to raise a warranty claim via their app which gives me a slot for the next day. So I must wait another day for any action.Luckily the installation technician agreed to send someone to investigate the issue. They spend 2 hours mucking about and suggest that issue is likely with my voltage. I have multiple other acs and appliances running for the past 4 years and never once faced a problem. They give up and say that the technician will visit next morning to fix it.Despite paying the full amount upfront for the ac and installation and wasting more than two days haggling with Amazon and the installation technician I am out 40000₹ and without a functional ac in Delhi summer.I am never going to order an electrical appliance on Amazon again. Leaving this review here to warn anyone considering Amazon basics for their ac purchase. Hope no one else has to suffer the same fate with their hard earned money and precious time. Peace.

The media could not be loaded. Installation completed on 21 Nov 2022 but technician took Rs 1400/- for installation charge and Rs 900/- for 3 feet extra pipe, I think he wrongly changed Rs 1400/- . refund can be posible and how I can get refund.
